Overall not bad but also not the best. The coffee was good and the service was great and the restaurant itself was nice but the food left something to be desired. The tater tots were good but other than that it seemed overpriced for the quality of food. Would maybe recommend for coffee but not for food.
Edit: After the owner replying asking more detail, I would state that I had the breakfast burrito and my partner the vegan breakfast burrito along with 2 cold brew coffees. I didn't order online but the purchase was made in store and with a credit card under my name, it should be there in the system.
The burritos mostly tasted like salsa and they were also very leaky. I had some of my burrito left and put it in its wrapper and back in the original paper bag and it leaked through both layers and onto the seat of my rental car (which I had to report). It just had a lot of juice coming from it and again mostly tasted like salsa.
Hope this helps, I don't want any kind of refund or anything just my honest feedback. Have a great day!
Cute little spot with absolutely delicious breakfast options. I wish I’d live here to have this be my regular weekend treat. I absolutely bodied my burrito. It was perfectly cooked and the tomatoes were a delight. Also don’t sleep on the baked goods! Excellent when toasted =) overall VERY good spot
Great smoothie, great coffee, great tater tots! A lot of reviews say that the staff is rude, but I think it’s just a really busy cafe. Cut the staff some slack, they are working really hard. I enjoyed working from the cafe very much, they play great music.
Atmosphere’s both friendly and calm. The food is worth it. Similar to a coffee shop vibe with sociable people and the occasional laptop. Some outdoor seating is available, but plan to get there early because I’ve rarely seen any outdoor seating left on a sunny day. I may pop in for lunch but would like to try their beer and wine selection at some point.
Fantastic coffee and a solid vegan offering but I wish they would have an option of chickpea tofu or chickpeas not being fried! I was excited to see chickpea tofu because I avoid soy but the tofu was deep fried and for health reasons I need to avoid fried foods so I had to end up putting it to the side and not eating it. Another time I got the Bhudda Bowl and the chickpeas
There were fried too. Maybe make non fried an option? This place is right near UCSF Berkeley where I get medical care and it would be great to have a place I could come to after appointments!
Huge Meh!
We were disappointed by an establishment near by and wanted to take shelter at a place that had vegan options.
The menu was confusing because there would be a vegan/veg symbol but had meat on it? Like what?
The ban mi had the wrong type of bread.
Avocado toast, more like avocado basic bread.
The breakfast burrito average.
The tot dish, greasy and mediocre.
Our coffee drinks were meh.
Staff was friendly.
They only had one bathroom for customers and someone was taking a long poo. He didn't even buy anything from the place so just a free loader bathroom user.
Overall, meh. Will not be going back.
We stopped here for a quick bite on our way to the airport. Great healthy options, service, and location.
I am more of a clean veggie and meat foodie. Food options, not too saucy, oily or fried. One of those places difficult to find.
Great portions.
We got Buddha bowl and vegan burrito.
Cute cafe near a favorite yarn store. Really appreciated being able to use the restrooms before ordering. Clean place with a cheery decor. Lots of cute places to sit or snap a pic. Popular spot with a stout line when we visited. Lots of …
